Thanks to its patented system, Sun-Ways intends to exploit the surface between the rails of a railroad track to mechanically install removable photovoltaic power plants using an industrial process.
A railroad track requires heavy maintenance (grinding - tamping) every 2 to 5 years. These interventions cannot be carried out without risking damage to the solar panels that would be permanently installed between the rails.
The "removable" mechanical anchoring device developed by Sun-Ways not only enables solar panels to be installed quickly and securely between the rails, but also allows all or part of the panels to be removed for maintenance work on the track.
All these operations are carried out mechanically using a railway machine that can install up to 1,000 m2 of PV per day.
